In addition to your advisor, the
course includes:
- Sample grant proposals prepared by fire departments.
- the e-book text, "Grant Writing That Gets Results."
- The Resource Library will help you with your research.
- Our Glossary of Terms Dictionary will show you the "language
of grants."
- Examples of well-written proposal letters, needs statements,
budgets and other key sections of grant proposals you may review
and adapt for your own proposals.

How does it
work? |

The course is divided into four
parts. Although your assignments are not "turned in," you'll want to complete
them so you'll have a finished proposal in the end. The four parts of
the course are designed to help you develop and write your grant proposal
in a well-organized fashion. You may work at your own speed. There are
no time limits for finishing the course. |
