The Missouri State Fire Marshal, in cooperation with the National Association of State Fire Marshals, has developed a program to assist local entities establish youth fire prevention coalitions. An intervention training program on how to establish and implement area coalitions was developed by the Missouri Youth Fire Safety Coalition and the Office of the State Fire Marshal. The Youth Firesetter Intervention training program is available through the the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Additional information is posted on our website at http://www.dfs.dps.mo.gov/

BRSG developed and coordinates PEICO (Prevention, Education, Intervention, Counseling Coalition). This program provides education in the area of burn/fire safety and has developed a multi-dimensional juvenile firesetter program, YFPT (Youth Fire Prevention Team). BRSG will train people to be part of our coalition and we coordinate children with the trainers within our group.
BRSG will help fire departments and other organizations in the devlopment of their coalitions and programs.
